The idea is to complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days. Why 1001 Days? 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Some things I’ve put in here are things that should be happening far more regularly, so I’m hoping that having them on an actual list will help motivate me to make them happen more often. I’ve also tried to have some sort of order to the list, so things that I know or hope will happen soon are at the top, and things planned for later in the year or next couple of years are further towards the bottom.

My list is quite fluid, I allow myself to add things as I think of them, or remove them if I find out something is not on my priority list any longer. I’m still adding to the list!

3. Update Etsy store with all completed jewellery designs and handmade goodies – waiting to be able to list in AUD
4. Create mikaela handmade website – almost finished
5. Update Danvers Creative site with recent projects and add more portfolio images – See Danvers Creative website
6. Convert Danvers Creative website into Wordpress theme to integrate blog features
7. Complete Just Details website, integrate blog and forumsselling this!
8. Sell JustDetails.net website
9. Sew 2 more cushion covers (for spare room)

11. Backup computer onto external drive, client files and business files
12. Dye my hair dark and cut a fringe – See post about cutting my hair

14. Sort out and delete old files from downloads folder, clean up hard drive – This took forever but I got there!
15. Dig out triangle of dirt in front of rubbish bins and fill with gravel – See post about mini landscaping project
16. Mulch front circular garden and put in watering cones
17. Finish putting watering cones in with hedges and build up garden bed
18. Get photos printed to fill empty frames hanging on wall above TV – I’ll probably move these around now we’ve moved the furniture around! They are mostly my photos from Hawai’i, with some family ones.
19. Steam clean the carpet throughout the whole house – read about how this may have been a waste of time
20. Buy a new scanner and find a good spot for it on my desk – Replaced my old printer with new scanner/printer combo
21. Cook 30 new and different recipes out of our many recipe books (2/30) – See my Recipes page

24. Sew towels to make flat dog beds – They love them!
25. Purchase 1 tonne of compost soil and get delivered

29. Plant 5 small trees in front of row of hedges in the front yard

31. Finish constructing the cat run including door and litter flap
32. Donate Blood – since getting my new tattoo I have to wait 12 months
