// hello

Use my photos with a Creative Commons License

Recently I contacted someone to ask if I could use their images in a free article I was sending out to my mailing list, with links back to her website. She politely declined, stating she reserves all rights. This got me thinking about my photographs and how they might be useful for others to use to demonstrate a point or illustrate an article or post. And what could be better then getting more exposure with more links coming in to my blog? I did a little investigating and have found that Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported Creative commons License is what I’d like to release all my photographs under (except of course those that I will be using on my handmade cards to sell, which will remain all rights reserved).

I have now set most of the images on my flickr account to have this type of licensing, so feel free to use them however you like! (in accordance with the license of course)
