We just got home from a great birthday dinner with my parents, JA’s parents (mom & stepdad), Chloé & Scott and Miriam at Australian Pizza Kitchen in Civic. SO YUM. Very full now. JA and I both got half/half pizzas so we could share and have 4 different kinds of pizza each =) We had Acapulco, Tandoori Chicken, Roasted Pumpkin and Smoked Chicken. No photos tonight, as we went to dinner straight from our first game of Summer Soccer (a mixed 9 a side social comp), and I didn’t take the camera.

After I finished work today I went to Aussie Junk in Mitchell where they sell second hand stuff, and picked up an ugly little bedside table with three drawers that I am going to use for the ribbon organising project and I’m going to use another for holding all my earrings for MadlyDeeply.net. Not sure what I’ll do with the third yet, any ideas?

I also went to the Rivoland Clearance tile warehouse to check on prices of tiles for our bathroom renovation (hoping to be done in the next 6 months, next 4 months is my ambition), it’s hard to make a decision there’s so many to choose from! We’re planning on a medium pebbly grey large floor tile, plain white square wall tiles and a stone feature. I’ve also decided on a vanity from Ikea! I’ll post that soon in a bathroom post.

My last and longest stop this afternoon was Magnet Mart, where I bought a bunch of plants with the money my Nandy gave me for my birthday, and also some more garden edging and native plant soil. So I trundled off home and did some gardening, right up until having to get ready for soccer! Quite a productive afternoon I think. Hopefully it will make up for the incredibly lazy times I plan to have from tomorrow afternoon onwards!

Tomorrow after work we’re going down to Broulee on the South Coast with JA’s sister Katie and his parents, where it probably won’t be warm enough to swim but will be just lovely enough to sit on the beach and do nothing. I hope it doesn’t rain this time!

So I will be back Sunday night with lots of photos and stories of doing nothing =)
