Grand Finals Soccer for 2009 – my team owns

We did it! My soccer team, Womens State League 1 Belconnen United Football Club, won the grand final on the weekend! It was a great game, we were down 1-0 by about the 20th minute but came back to score 3 goals (all 3 by our awesome striker Freya) to take out the Premiership. Woohoo!

In related news, unfortunately John’s team lost their final the week before, 2-0. They were still League Champions though so all was not lost.

Now bring on Spring and Summer, and free weekends!
