Doing your bit

Do you donate to charities or fundraisers? If so, how do you decide who to donate to, and how much? If not, what are your reasons?

Personally I always feel that because I don’t do any volunteer work, it’s my duty to donate to various charities regularly. Well, it’s been only rarely lately, so I need to get into some sort of routine with it. I’ve started to turn my afternoon tea parties in to fund raising opportunities, starting with $90 for the Cancer Council a couple of week ago.

I’ve also just registered to be in the RSPCA Million Paws Walk in May, and am pretty excited about it! My team (the Drop Bears) has already raised $100 from 2 generous donations. Here’s the link if you have any spare dosh for the animals!
