Time: 12.19pm
Location: Staffroom
Watching: My students do a design scavenger hunt, so competitive!
Eating: Vege Wrap, Potato Topped pies. Ahhh canteen food.
Drinking: About to make a tea.
Reading: Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult. I’ts good, I’m very judgemental of the characters right now.
Thinking: I’m devestated about the future environmentally and how it will effect my children and grandchildren. Heavy stuff.
Wanting: A day off from everything, to lie in the sun or go to the beach with my boys and just hang out without pressure to make or create or sell or design.
Needing: to organise my office.
Making: jewellery for the markets.
Loving: the hint of spring in the air, it’s DELICIOUS.

Miki,
I think both your ‘thinking’ and ‘wanting’ is completely expected for a mother, especially a relatively new one. I think of one as worries and the other as the impulse to escape the new responsibilities.
It comforts me that I am not alone. I am with all mothers and fathers of my age and newly acquired parentage and parents of older kids.
