Last week just before Christmas I went to the tip with JA and Erin to dump some stuff, then we went and had a look in Aussie Junk (where I got the bedside table to make the DIY jewellery drawer organiser), and then the salvos in Mitchell. I got a whole bunch of stuff for super cheap, to display all my handmade goodies when I go and sell them at the markets.
In the photo below you can see 2 glass jars with fancy lids, 3 shallow glass bowls, 2 rounder glass bowls, 4 squat cocktail/dessert glasses (not exactly sure what kind of glasses these are), a light brown wooden rack thing, a dark brown wooden cake server, and a black rotating display rack. I think all up it cost me abut $30.

Market Displays
I’ve painted the wooden bits white and they look much more shmick now. I definitely have enough displays for all my buttons and magnets, so won’t need anything more for those. I still need to paint the bookcases I got for the shelving, find a trestle table, make a white fabric cover, get the letters for the shop name, and work out how I’m going to display the fabric swatches (of which I’m getting more samples sent to me, very exciting!). I’m going to display mini bookmarks and my business cards in the squat glasses. Oh and I also need to get some business card holders to display the cards upright.
Ohhhh the planning and organising part of this process is much more fun than actually going and doing it! haha
