DIY Work Desk

Over Christmas I decided I needed a work desk in the study to make all my handmade goodies so I could stop using the dining table and having nowhere to eat dinner (if we so chose to use the table instead of the couch in front of the tv). So of I trotted to bunnings, bought some wood and brackets, and knocked up this little beauty:

Before – Study is very messy and unorganised albeit nice and colourful

After – Study actually doesn’t look very much different, though I can assure you this time it is very organised, a place for everything and everything in it’s place

I’ve also been meaning to give this tired old thing a lick of paint:

So I did, an popped some felt in the shelving, and now I have convenient little hidey holes for all my camera bits.

  1. Wow it’s amazing what a few coats of paint can do! It looks so much better! Great organization there! You really cleaned that workspace up nicely!

  2. Thanks Caity! I think it helped to get rid of some of the clutter on the walls, I now have to figure out where I’m going to hang the pictures I removed =P
