Sharing the Birthday love with a giveaway!

I’ve had a lovely day today for my birthday, I got breakfast in bed with doggies and kitty, JA made me french toast and a surprise milkshake mmmm YUM. Afterward I went op-shopping with Lala and got some great books and things for my market stall, then JA and I went and saw Red at Dendy Premium Lounge (I loooove Premium Lounge). And for dinner JA cooked yummy hamburgers (though after all the food at Dendy I didn’t really need dinner). I also got many many lovely phone and facebook messages, which is always nice! So I was thoroughly spoiled, my lovely friends will be pleased to know =)

I’m working on my kids canvas paintings at the moment and have scanned some in to create smaller versions for paper button magnets and badges, so while I had them all in photoshop I decided to put them together to create a bright and fun kids wrapping paper print! By clicking the image below you can download the large A4 version jpg (or right click > save target as) which you can print off as many times as you like to use however you wish (non-commercially).

Alphabet Wall Art

I had a spare frame the other day that I was wondering what to do with. I’ve been seeing a lot of DIY wall art lately, and since I’m teaching a lot of Typography at the moment, I decided to try my hand at some Alphabet Wall Art. It’s far from perfect, but being the most impatient person in the world, it’s staying as it is, and I’m calling it a finished project =)

Typefaces used are Avant Garde and Bring Tha Noize.

I’ve just completed a cute little design ready for the holiday season, which I would love to share with you all!

This design is based on the layout of the Halloween gift cards I was giving away last month, but I wanted to use colours that aren’t typically “Christmas-y”, and I was inspired by the pink and blue buttons I was using to make my button magnets last week.

And in the spirit of giving, I’d like to offer this as a free download, with 8 gift cards set on an A4 sheet, ready for you to print off (on fancy paper if that’s your style!) and use for gifts, name tags, place settings etc… however you like =)
